Bernard Rice Seasoning Mixes are truly high quality blends containing all the necessary seasonings, flavoring and vegetables while allowing for the use of your own rice at very low cost or may even be available as a USDA commodity. Our Rice Seasoning Mixes have application for all types of customers; schools, healthcare, camps meals-on-wheels and corrections.

Cheesy Mexican Rice Seasoning Mix:Mild cheese flavor with onion, green & red bell peppers and light Mexican seasoning.
Chicken Rice Pilaf Seasoning Mix:Mildly seasoned with rosemary and thyme in a chicken-flavored broth.
Asian Rice Seasoning Mix: Mildly seasoned with ginger, garlic and onion containing whole peas and diced carrots.
Spanish Rice Seasoning Mix: Mildly seasoned with a light beef broth flavor containing tomato, onion, red and green pepper dices and celery pieces.

Each ½ cup serving equals one serving of bread alternative.

Rice Seasoning Oven Cook Directions

  1. Combine 1-1/2 gallons of HOT water with 4 lbs. of rice, 6 ounces of oil, and ½ bag (l lb) of Bernard Rice Seasoning in 4” deep steam table pan and gently stir with wire whisk to combine ingredients. (Each 2 lb. bag of Bernard Rice Seasoning will yield two steam table pans).
  2. Cover and bake at 400° for 25 to 35 minutes or until rice is done and water is absorbed.
  3. Stir and serve immediately or hold in steam table at 160°
